3rd Annual Renegade Craft Fair, July 31st to August 1st

29 July 2010 No Comment

On the hunt for the next DIY extravaganza? Head on over to Fort Mason July 31st for a smorgasbord of great handmade art, jewelry, clothing, and – get ready for it – some attachable beards made of yarn. Welcome to the 3rd Annual Renegade Craft Fair, featuring 225 independent artists.

Along with the myriad of goodies to be had, there will be live entertainment and workshops. You can learn about Craftivism with the Scarving Artists Knit-In, and enjoy some live music by the Troglodyte jug-band Thee Hobo Gobbelins. One of the main sponsors Etsy will also be there showing fans how to make quick and easy projects.

Visitors are encouraged to take public transportation, although there will be public parking available. There is no admission for this event. Food will be available for vegans and meat eaters, and best of all beer and wine.

GetWize: If you get there early enough, you can make your way to the info booth and make your very own Renegade art button and score a free copy of Juxtapoz Magazine.
