Mario Batali’s massive Italian food hall Eataly had a line around the block on its first day of operation in NYC’s Flatiron District. People were there to mangia the cured meats, cheeses, pizzas and countless other Italian goodies that are served at stations throughout the space. With all the first-day madness, we turned to Cesare Casella, chef-owner of Salumeria Rosi Parmacotto and Dean of the Italian Culinary Academy at the International Culinary Center, to help us navigate the space. Watch a video of our Eatalian adventure after the jump:
