Another small but mighty venture from chef-entrepreneur Dennis Leary (Canteen, The Sentinel), the tiny Downtown back-alley bakery Golden West aims to fuel FiDi workers with its housemade breads, pastries and somewhat retro American dishes – think deviled ham, brisket and bread-in-can; it’s strictly a to-go affair, served weekdays only for breakfast and lunch.
